Remembering Steve, Apple posts Jobs tribute video with a message from Tim Cook
A year ago today, former Apple CEO Steve Jobs died. Describing the time as “sad and difficult,” Apple CEO Tim Cook posted a fitting video tribute and message on the company’s homepage today. “One of the greatest gifts Steve gave to the world is Apple,” says Cook. “Our values originated from Steve and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.”

Missed, but the dent in the universe remains.

If you saw the Louis episode ‘Duckling’, you might like this photo Louis took in 2009, of a duckling his daughter brought home from school.

  5. what if there was something better that you’d be missing out on? like, what if i liked you and you could tell, and what if you didn’t try to kiss me and we just sat here and we talked and we got to know each other? i mean a kiss would stop that cold. but if you don’t try to kiss me, we talk and talk and say goodnight, maybe we could see each other again. and keep talking, and still, you don’t try to kiss me. maybe we could get close, start to really like each other. we might kiss but we don’t make out, you don’t touch any part of my body. and maybe love would grow. we’d get excited just to hear each other’s voices and feel pent-up desire. then what if we got married? then you’d still haven’t seen me in my undergarments, haven’t touched any part of me. then, on that first night, we would be together for the first time. we could do anything. and everything….and because we waited, that first time and every time after would be so passionate and so free. i bet you’ve never had sex one time in your life like that. where there’s no shame, there’s no fear. where you could put all of yourself in a woman and leave nothing behind. just you and me, you and your body, me and my body, touching. being close.

From North Carolina’s Charlotte Observer. The last time North Carolina amended its constitution on marriage, it was to ban interracial marriage.
